(Frisco, Texas) ~ Recreational, amateur and Olympic hopefuls looking to step up their game and move to the next level should be sure to register for the upcoming Winter Games of Texas to be held January 15-17, 2010 in Frisco, Texas.
Registration is officially open for all 14 sports: basketball, Miracle League bowling, dance, fencing, figure skating, flag football, gymnastics, ice hockey, karate, soccer, swimming, table tennis, volleyball and wrestling. The largest multi-sport event in North Texas will take place at various venues in Frisco such as Fieldhouse USA, The ICE at Stonebriar, the Frisco Athletic Center, The Dr Pepper Arena, Pizza Hut Park, Frisco ISD Natatorium and more.
The Winter Games of Texas were created as companion to the Summer Games of Texas by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation, the Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau and the City of Frisco Parks and Recreation Department.
