Frisco, Texas (January 12, 2010) - Frisco Square, along with
Accuardi and Wilkerson owners of Patriarch's, announced that
Patriarch's Sanctuary Bar (6142 Frisco Square Blvd.) and
Patriarch's Cigar Humidor (6190 Frisco Square Blvd.) will both open
on February 12, 2010. The two entrepreneurs have been working for
more than a year to bring the upscale piano bar and a separate
retail cigar shop and smoking lounge to Frisco Square.
"Patriarch's Sanctuary Bar has been developed as a destination
where people will gather to have a quiet drink, enjoy soft piano
music and won't be required to shout to be heard", said B. J.
Accuardi, President of Patriarch's. "Even the décor will be
different. We're decorating with French and English Gothic
antiques, an antique bar, large back-lit stained glass windows,
vaulted ceilings, a grand piano and custom-made seating", noted
Accuardi. Bill Wilkerson commented on the cigar humidor and smoking
lounge, "B.J. and I are avid cigar smokers. We have high standards
and didn't find a place that met them where we could sit, have a
drink and a conversation while we smoked a good cigar. The result
will be one of the most complete cigar humidors and smoking lounges
in the D/FW area; with a knowledgeable staff and a haven for
like-minded people".
"We have been very pleased and impressed with the efforts B.J. and Bill have made to bring their vision to Frisco Square," noted Cathy Sweeney, a Managing Partner at Frisco Square. "We think that the 1,674 sq. ft. Sanctuary Bar and the 1,869 sq. ft. cigar humidor and smoking lounge are a good compliment to the other family-friendly establishments like Best Thai, Lochrann's and Mattito's. We expect that Patriarch's will offer a sophisticated atmosphere that will appeal to those who just want a quiet place."
