Winter Games of Texas

Winter Games of Texas

The City of Frisco enthusiastically welcomed the return of The 2010 Winter Games of Texas that included more than 4,200 athletes and 15,600 spectators. This multi-sport youth athletic event is patterned after the real Olympics featured 13 different sports played in venues throughout Frisco, with one event taking place in Plano. The growth and success of this year's event is another example of Frisco continuing to be a prominent location for hosting major and minor sporting events.

The 2010 competitions included the following sports: soccer, basketball, table tennis, wrestling, cheerleading, swimming, flag football, ice hockey, figure skating, fencing, Miracle League bowling, karate and gymnastics.  To learn more about the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation or the Games of Texas, CLICK HERE or call 877-GoFrisco (463-7472) or contact one of the representatives below..
