Spring Break Family Fun in Frisco, TX

Whether you’re just visiting or have lived here for years, there are tons of exciting things to do in Frisco this spring break! Grab the fam or a few friends and check out these exciting and family-friendly Frisco gems!

 

PGA Frisco

There’s no shortage of fun and family-friendly activities at PGA Frisco! The Monument Realty PGA District is filled with interactive options for everyone. From golf for all ages and skill levels to top-notch restaurants and shopping, PGA Frisco is a great way to spend a day (or two!) of spring break.

 

The Dance Floor

Try your hand at putting around The Dance Floor, PGA’s lighted, 2-acre putting course. This free putting course is open to all ages and skill levels. Putters and balls can be rented for $5 each, or bring your own!

 

The Swing

Perfect for families or groups of friends, The Swing is a lighted, 10-hole, par-3 short course that welcomes players of all skill levels. Mix it up and play a round late into the night—The Swing is open till 11pm Monday-Wednesday and till midnight Thursday-Saturday! There is a fee per person to play. Club rentals and balls are available, or bring your own.

 

Ice House Hitting Bays

Reserve one of the 6 hitting bays at Ice House, one of the casual restaurants in The District, and practice your swing while relaxing and enjoying a hearty meal. Kids are welcome and are sure to enjoy the Ice House Kid’s Menu! Ice House hitting bays are open late, with the tracked balls lighting up as they soar through the air.

 

The Ronny Golf Park

Everyone is welcome at The Ronny Golf Park! Designed for junior golfers, this turfed mini-course is the perfect way for families to connect through chipping and putting together. The Ronny is free and open to the public when lessons are not in session. Be sure to check online to make sure the course is open for public play and bring your own clubs and balls.

Frisco Public Library

If you haven’t been to the new Frisco Public Library, spring break is the perfect opportunity to check it—and some books—out! The new library is a truly impressive space that features interactive areas for each age group. Tot’s Town is an educational space designed for children 5 and under that features hands-on, developmentally-appropriate activities. The Kid’s Club is designed for kids in kindergarten-5th grade and offers a variety of hands-on, STEM-driven activities kids will enjoy. Don’t forget to say hi to Rexy, the life-size tyrannosaurus skeleton replica! Visitors are welcome to stop in and enjoy the library, too!

Parks and Rec Fun in Frisco

Frisco's parks and recreation team, Play Frisco, has plenty of fun and creative activities to keep the kiddos entertained over spring break. Step back in time and discover life on the Blackland Prairie of North Texas, take a bird tour, have a teddy bear picnic, and more. Explore Play Frisco's lineup of spring break activities here.

iFly Indoor Skydiving

Take a leap and try skydiving in an indoor, controlled environment at iFly Dallas, located near Stonebriar Centre in Frisco. There is no minimum height or weight restriction, so even younger kids can enjoy this truly unique, high-flying experience. The helpful, knowledgeable, and skilled iFly staff will make sure everyone has the time of their life!

Monster Mini Golf

Monster Mini Golf is your destination for indoor, black-lit, monstrous mini golf! Some of the elements are indeed creepy, but the fun-loving atmosphere keeps things light enough that young guests will love it, too. Other Monster Mini Golf attractions include bowling, arcade, laser maze, and virtual reality.

KidZania

The city built by kids, run by kids, KidZania is a world-class destination with Frisco boasting the only KidZania location in the United States. Located inside Stonebriar Centre, there are over 100 “professions” for kids to try on in the City of KidZania, from veterinarian and NICU nurse to firefighter and podcaster. Plan to spend an entire day at KidZania—no one will want to leave and there’s a ton to do!
