Frisco has a long history of being a shopping destination. In the city’s early years, it was common on weekends for the sidewalks and streets of Main Street to be packed with farmers, ranchers, and city folks. Horses, wagons and eventually Model T cars were parked outside of shops like Curtsinger’s Drug Store, Sapp Brothers’ Café, or the Frisco Beauty Shoppe.
Today, while it’s rare to see horses or Model Ts making their way down Main Street, the folks still come from all over to visit The Rail District to frequent the merchants there including Bittersweet Ivy, Summer Moon Coffee, Tumbleweed TexStyles, Randy’s Steakhouse, The Game Show Experience, Three Empires Brewing Co., Haystack, La Finca, Karmic Grounds, eight 11 place, The Heritage Table, Willow House, and more.
