DAY 1: GOLF FUN, BBQ, & DOWNTOWN DINING
Whether golf is your favorite thing or not quite your thing, you can have a ball at PGA Frisco. From putting on the 2-acre natural putting course, playing on the Par 3 short course, or booking a tee time on one of the two 18-hole championship courses, the golf options are plenty. Check into Omni PGA Frisco Resort for a weekend of relaxing pool time, fun with the family, or luxurious getaway time.Â
When you've worked up your appetite, Ice House has a refreshing drink and satisfying BBQ to hit the spot. You can even hit in their bays on the patio while you dine. For golf simulation indoors, Lounge by Topgolf is a winner. Both of these, along with shops and more, are located in the PGA Entertainment District.
Next visit the Frisco Rail District for bites, shops, and Main Street charm. Grab a Texas-inspired gift from your trip or shop the latest trends at a boutique. Didi's Downtown has downhome hospitality waiting for you in their historic home setting or expansive enclosed patio with live music on the weekends!
DAY 2: ART, DALLAS COWBOYS, MUSEUMS, AND SPORTS
Wind your way through the Texas Sculpture Garden at HALL Park to see the largest private collection of contemporary Texas sculpture ever assembled. And, stroll through the new Kaleidoscope Park for creative twist on play and art.Â
Go behind the scenes and explore a day in the life of a Dallas Cowboys player during a guided tour of The Star. You'll see the beautiful atrium, donned with iconic trophies and rings to admire, and see where the players prepare, train, and even eat!
Without having to leave The Star District you can shop and dine all day. Get a taste of Tupelo Honey's southern menu or enjoy Tex- Mex food at Mi Cocina. Shop everything from leather goods, cowboy boots, sports collectibles, and fashion throughout The Star District.Â
Hit the museums at the Discovery Center where you'll find six stops in one, plus the new library on the north end of the building. Favorites here include the National Videogame Museum and TrainTopia.Â
For dinner enjoy TruFire Kitchen, a progressive American concept with Mediterranean, Italian and globally inspired dishes. Take note for late night vibes at the hidden speakeasy, Rare Books Bar next door.Â
Take your group out to the ballpark for a night with the Frisco RoughRiders, the AA affiliate of the Texas Rangers. You'll love this charming ballpark and family-friendly entertaining baseball at its best!
