Tickets On Sale for Historic 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in Frisco
Frisco, Texas, November 12, 2024 - The PGA of America announced today that tickets for the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship are now available for purchase. This event marks the first women’s Major Championship, and second Major Championship overall, to be played on Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco, the Home of the PGA of America and Omni PGA Frisco Resort. This edition of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will be the first in its 70-year history to be played in Texas.
The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, the most prestigious and second-oldest women’s Major Championship, will be contested June 16-22, 2025. The Championship showcases the best female players in the world, including 2024 KPMG Women’s PGA Champion Amy Yang, competing on a world-class course for their place in golf history.
The PGA of America is dedicated to growing the game of golf and providing entry points for girls and women to become involved with the sport. Golf has never been more popular, especially among women: According to the National Golf Foundation, there were seven million female on-course golfers in 2023, a 25 percent increase since 2019.
“We are very excited to share that tickets are now available for the next Major Championship here at PGA Frisco, the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship,” said Jason Mengel, championship director of the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. “Hosting this championship in the PGA of America's backyard, amid the rising momentum of women's sports, highlights our commitment to community and inclusivity in golf.”
